Supply:

1 bottle: Engines up to 2.0 liters displacement
2 bottles: Between 2.0-4.0 liters stroke volume
3 bottles: Engines over 4.0 liters displacement

Step by step instructions

Ensure engine is cold and remove the radiator cap. Pour Steel Seal directly into the radiator. Replace cap. NB: If you don’t have a radiator cap pour directly into the expansion tank.

Turn heater and fan to maximum. Start engine and run the vehicle up to temperature. Once vehicle reaches operating temperature, idle for 30 minutes. Turn off vehicle and allow to cool completely. Top up with antifreeze/water as necessary and replace radiator cap.

Leave the Steel Seal in your system and drive the vehicle as usual.

NB: We recommend flushing the cooling system before use to remove any other chemicals, and refilling with blue ethylene glycol.

SEAL FOR LEAKING HEADGASKET IN THREE SIMPLE STEPS:

SS instruktioner

For best possible result:

If you have tried other substandard products, rinse your cooling system with plain water after removing the lower radiator hose to the radiator. Do not use radiator cleaners.

After rinsing the cooling system, reconnect the lower radiator hose to the radiator.

FURTHER STEEL SEAL INSTRUCTIONS:

These instructions are for those who have overpressure in the cooling system, which usually shows up as bubbles in the expansion vessel or air puffs out of the radiator cap.

Find which cylinder is causing the overpressure in the expansion vessel or the back pressure. (Remove one spark plug at a time until it stops bubbling)

Before starting the engine, remove the spark plug or fuel injection from the cylinder that caused the bubbles in the expansion vessel or overpressure. If you can access it, also remove the fuel injection cord from that cylinder to limit the amount of unburned fuel.

– If you do not find the spark plug that causes the bubbles, run the engine with the coolant so that it covers the top of the heat sinks in the radiator with the radiator cap off. or leave the lid of the expansion vessel off and hold in only so much water that you can just see it.

– Be sure to let the engine run until it warms up with the spark plug / fuel injection removed and let the engine run one last time with the spark plug / fuel injection retrofitted.

STEEL SEAL FAQ

Down below you can see some of the most common questions we get about our product Steel Seal.

WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF STEEL SEAL?

The product was developed in the USA and has undergone some strict independence and laboratory tests, Scott Laboratory has performed a thorough evaluation of both Steel Seal and its competitors and concluded that Steel Seal was superior to all other products tested. Steel Seal has been successfully used in hundreds of thousands of vehicles. Steel Seal has been on the market since November 1999. It was launched by sending out 80,000 information videos to almost every workshop in the United States. This was followed by advertisements in the magazines Motor Age, Underhud Service, Auto Remarketing, Used Car News, Used Car Dealer and Tech Shop. The combination of these magazines meant that the information reached virtually all workshop managers, mechanics and car dealers in the United States. The main advantage of Steel Seal is the durability of the seal. The formula creates a seal that on a molecular level is very similar to the different materials that an engine is made of, so that the seal expands and contracts at the same rate as the engine. This leads to an excellent service life of the seal.

WHAT IS STEEL SEAL MADE OF?

Steel Seal is made of several different chemicals, which when combined under the right circumstances, create a seal that is as strong as steel.

HOW DOES STEEL SEAL WORK?

Steel Seal is used as an additive in the coolant and is poured into the radiator of a cold engine. When the engine is then started and reaches working temperature, Steel Seal will be distributed in the engine. The product is drawn to the damaged area and seals the leak with a thermochemical bonding process. It is similar to epoxy resin but in liquid form.

WILL STEEL SEAL SEAL THE COOLINGSYSTEM?

Steel Seal is a clear liquid that does not contain any fibrous materials or particles that clog the cooling system. You can see it for yourself by just looking through the bottle.

WILL THE GLYCOL IN THE COOLANT AFFECT THE SEALING?

No, while the product can be used together with all types of traditional coolants, we recommend that you use a coolant of good quality that is a maximum of two years old.

HOW LONG WILL STEEL SEAL HOLD?

With Steel Seal, the seal is permanent under normal conditions, but there is always a risk that it will start to leak elsewhere in the engine.

WHAT DOES STEEL SEAL NOT SEAL?

Steel Seal will not seal leaks in hoses, gaskets, water pumps or extremely large cracks in the top or engine block that cause the car not to start. If the car does not start, the Steel Seal will not work so it relies on heat.

IS STEEL SEAL A FRAUD?

No Steel Seal is not a scam and we offer a simple money back guarantee. Talk to one of our resellers and see how much trust they have in the product.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I HAVE USED AN INVALID PRODUCT THAT SAYS IT HAS SIMILAR PROPERTIES?

There are several good products on the market such as K-seal, Holts Radweld and Seal up but they rely on fillers unlike Steel Seal and therefore they break down. The cooling system must be flushed with water, not a coolant for the cooling system.

ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS I SHOULD TAKE WHEN I USE STEEL SEAL?

Steel Seal should be kept out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. If eyes or skin become irritated with Steel Seal, rinse immediately with cold water. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor immediately.

HOW MUCH DO I NEED?

Engine size Bottles Under 2.0 liters: 1 bottle Over 2.0 liters: 2 bottles Over 4.0 liters: 3 bottles.

SHOULD I EMPTY OUT THE COOLING SYSTEM BEFORE USE?

You need clean coolant in the system, if it is old or full of oil, you must first change the coolant and then pour in the Steel Seal.

MY CAR LEAKS OIL AT THE CYLINDER HEAD?

Steel Seal will not repair oil leaks, only leaks related to coolant in the cylinder head. Nothing can stop oil leakage at the cylinder head except a change.

STEEL SEAL NEVER WORKS

It certainly works, but of course no sealant can fix a hole that is too large.

I AM TRYING TO USE STEEL SEAL FOR THE SECOND TIME SINCE MY CAR STILL OVERHEATS, DO I NEED A NEW COOLANT?

If the coolant is fresh and clean, pour in the Steel Seal, it is dirty, so replace it first.

    LIGHT WASTER LOSS AND HEATING

    FREELANDER V6 2002

« My car mechanic vented the cooling system as I had sporadic problems with the temperature gauge that began to live its own life. Leaked about a pint of water a day. He performed a test that showed that I had a small leak in the cylinder head gasket. I had previously tested other products that seal cylinder head gaskets that did not work at all. My mechanic recommended that I try Steel Seal as he only heard about one case when it did not work. I bought and poured in and now it has been two weeks without water leakage or overheating problems. I’m so thankful! »

« My car went like a steam locomotive with water vapor from the exhaust pipe and misfires. Did as it said on the bottle and it seems to have done as it should. Checked the fluid level and it has not moved at all, the car runs as it did before the cylinder head gasket broke. I’m very happy with the Steel Seal. »

    WATER LEAKAGE

    MG ZS

« Even though it was just a small leak, it was still worrying. I contacted the car workshop that usually services the car and after a quick look, they came to the conclusion that it might be the cylinder head gasket that was about to go with it and that it would cost between 5000 and 7000 kronor to repair. I therefore bought a bottle of Steel Seal because I had nothing to lose. I was careful to follow the instructions and the result came immediately and was perfect. I just saved SEK 5,500. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone who is considering trying it. »

    ROVER 2002

« Stunning – wonderful – amazing. I was so unhappy that I had saved so much for a trip and a Nintendo Wii for my five year old, when I was told that it would cost 10,000 of more than one workshop to fix the problem when I was recommended to try Steel Seal. Really thank you very much, it worked better than expected. We will tell more about your product when we are on the trip. »

    2004 MG TF 135

« I was really hesitant about something that comes in a bottle and promises to fix the problem.! But I got proof that I was wrong. Thanks for following the instructions. And my MG has stopped drinking so much water and the performance is like when the car was new. So I’m really impressed. Had not noticed that the car had lost power until I poured in Steel Seal. It is an incredible product that works! »

    OVERHEATING AND CONSUMING COOLANT

    FORD FIESTA 1.25

« Fantastic product. Just follow the instructions on the bottle. We have used this product a few times in our car workshop for our customers who cannot afford to repair the cylinder head gasket. Of all the cars we have tested it on, only one did not work and that was because the damage to the engine block was too great and even then the people at Steel Seal were wonderful on the phone. »

    WATER IN OIL

    OPEL CORSA 1.2 16V

    WATER LEAKAGE

    AUDI A3 2006

    WHITE LIQUID ON THE OILCAP

    1999 MERCEDES E280 W210

« Had problems with white mud that accumulated on the oil cap but nothing on the stick. Tried a few other products to see if there really were problems with the cylinder head gasket but none of these products seemed to work. As a last resort I tested Steel Seal and pulled backwards, within a few minutes the deposits on the oil cap had disappeared so it worked for me and I only needed to use one bottle even though two were recommended. I followed the instructions to the letter and it seems to have worked. The engine runs smoother under load and idling has improved. For my part, I would like to recommend the product to anyone who has a problem with leaking coolant. It does exactly what it claims on the bottle and it works. Thank you so much to everyone at Steel Seal who has saved me several thousand dollars in workshop costs. »

    UNEVEN DRIVING, CONSUMING COOLANT

    PEUGEOT 206 1.4 1998

« This is the second car I have used Steel Seal on. The other was a 1.8 Freelander 18 months ago and it is running at full capacity. It has worked on both cars and saved me several thousand dollars. Easy to use. Literally just pouring in and letting the engine run. There is no other product I have ever used that has given the results it has promised. really keep what they promise. Do not listen to the critics who say that there is no shortcut to fixing a broken cylinder head gasket. Because there is! »
